Cookie policy

Last updated: 27 July 2026.

3.1 What cookies are

Cookies are small files or identifiers that a website may store on or read from a user’s device. Similar technologies may include local storage, pixels, tags, device identifiers and scripts. In this policy, “cookies” includes these technologies where they perform a comparable function.

3.2 Who uses cookies

Sire Estates BV, trading as Presencia Benelux, is responsible for first-party cookies used on presenciabenelux.com. Some cookies or related technologies may be provided by third parties, including Google, the consent management platform, HubSpot or other tools introduced later.

3.3 Cookie categories

Category

Purpose

Strictly necessary

Enable essential functions, security, session management, load balancing and storage of the user’s consent choice. They do not require consent when genuinely necessary to provide a service requested by the user.

Functional

Remember preferences or enable optional features. They are used only where appropriate and on a valid legal basis; consent is normally required where they are not necessary.

Analytics

Help measure visits, pages, traffic sources and Website use. Google Analytics must not load before consent where it uses non-essential cookies or identifiers.

Performance

Measure loading times, errors and technical performance. Where they are not strictly necessary, they are activated only after consent.

Advertising

Support personalised advertising, campaign measurement or profiling. The screenshots supplied currently show no advertising cookies. Such tools must not be activated until there is a real implementation, complete information and valid consent.

3.4 Consent and preference management

When first visiting the Website, users can accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies or customise their preferences by category. Non-essential cookies must remain blocked until the user gives consent.

Accepting and rejecting should be equally easy. Users may change or withdraw consent at any time through the permanent “Cookie Preferences” link or icon available on the Website. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before withdrawal.

Closing the banner, continuing to browse or taking no action must not be treated as consent to non-essential cookies.

3.5 Cookies and technologies currently expected

Technical status must be checked
The consent panel shown in the screenshots currently says “No cookies to display” in every category, while Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are said to be active. Before this policy is treated as final, the web developer must run a fresh scan and verify that Analytics remains blocked until consent. The table below is indicative and must not replace the live inventory shown in the consent panel.

3.6 Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

The Website is expected to use Google Analytics to obtain aggregated statistics about Website use. Google Tag Manager is used to manage tags, but its configuration may activate tools that set cookies or process personal data.

Google Analytics and any other non-essential tag must fire only after the user accepts the relevant category. We recommend using Google Consent Mode in a manner consistent with applicable law, reviewing IP and data minimisation settings, limiting retention, and keeping advertising features disabled until they are specifically configured and disclosed.

3.7 Future tools

If LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Ads, advertising pixels, embedded maps, videos, booking tools, chat services or other technologies are introduced, the consent platform and this policy must be updated before activation. Empty cookie categories must not be used as a basis for loading technologies that are not properly described.

3.8 Third-party cookies and international transfers

Third parties may process identifiers and technical data under their own terms. Where processing involves transfers outside the European Economic Area, valid mechanisms will be used, such as adequacy decisions, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where applicable, Standard Contractual Clauses or other recognised safeguards.

3.9 Browser controls

In addition to using the Website’s preference panel, users can delete or block cookies through their browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Website from working correctly. Instructions vary by browser and device.

3.10 Updates to this Cookie Policy

The cookie list may change when technical settings or providers change. The inventory displayed in the consent panel should be kept current through periodic scans. The date of this policy will be updated whenever there is a material change.
